I have given in and finally picked up a Moleskine. On my recent trip to Berlin, I found the price of the Moleskine was cheaper than in Taiwan. What the hell, I thought.

After using it on my trip to Australia, I think the best things about it are how it has a hard back, and how it has a rubber band. It allows you to write on irregular surfaces (such as your knee), and the rubber band prevents it being torn apart in your backpack.

So far, I like it.
